RESIDUAL HAZARD SOFTWARE / IDENTITY SYSTEM 01

A RECOGNISABLE
WARNING SIGN.

Industrial clarity. Arcade energy. Just enough official-looking paperwork to make the bad ideas seem intentional.

01 / THE MARK
The Residual Hazard mark: a broken triangular warning sign containing an angular R

THE RISK
THAT REMAINS.

A broken warning triangle frames an angular R. The open corner suggests something has escaped containment. The mark works as a favicon, avatar, game credit and studio signature.

Give it at least a quarter of its width in clear space. Keep the symbol at least 24 pixels wide and the full wordmark at least 180 pixels wide. Use supplied SVGs; preserve their proportions.

02 / THE PALETTE

#171916Asphalt
#F5F3E9Paper
#B94D35Oxide

Asphalt is the canvas. Paper carries the words. Hazard yellow marks the action. Oxide is a supporting accent for illustration, never the only signal for important information.

03 / TYPE THAT MEANS BUSINESS

LOUD HEADLINES.
CLEAR DETAILS.

BARLOW CONDENSED

Bold, uppercase display type. Big ideas. Short lines.

Inter. Easy on the eyes.

Regular body copy with room to breathe.

IBM PLEX MONO / 001

Labels, metadata and the occasional incident report.

04 / THE VOICE

DRY HUMOUR.
WARM INTENT.

“Independent games. Questionable judgement.”

Speak plainly, then let the joke land. British understatement, mock industrial language and affection for arcade games. Make fun of our decisions before making fun of the player.

Keep studio copy welcoming and the game’s adult satire clearly labelled. Never invent reviews, awards, player numbers or a formal age rating.
