This notice covers the Residual Hazard Software website, including its contact and game-feedback forms.
Messages and optional reply details
The forms collect a subject, message, message category and an optional reply email. You don’t need to supply a name or create an account. Leave the email blank if you don’t want a reply. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.
How messages are handled
Messages are sent through Resend to a private studio inbox so Residual Hazard Software can handle enquiries, investigate bugs and consider suggestions. Messages are not published automatically or used to subscribe you to marketing. Email delivery involves Resend and the studio’s mailbox provider processing the message and any reply address.
Spam prevention
When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether a submission appears legitimate. Its widget connects your browser to Cloudflare. The server verifies that check before sending a message. Temporary rate limits may also use a hashed connection address; these counters expire within ten minutes and are not forwarded in the message.
Storage and access
This application does not maintain a separate message database. Messages and optional reply details are retained in the studio’s email system and its providers’ operational systems. Only include information you are comfortable sending by email. To ask about a message you sent or request its removal from the studio inbox, use the contact form and provide enough information to identify it.
Website delivery
Fonts and artwork are served with the site. Hosting infrastructure receives connection information and may keep operational logs to deliver the site and diagnose faults.
Optional website analytics
If you allow analytics, this website loads Google Analytics to measure page visits, navigation and interactions. Google receives technical information such as your connection address, browser, device and referring website. Analytics cookies distinguish visits; their configured lifetime is 180 days. Google processes analytics information under its privacy policy. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. This integration does not send your contact messages, suggestions or reply email addresses as analytics events.
The Google tag is blocked until you choose Allow analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent using the website or sending messages. Your choice is stored locally in this browser for 180 days. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change it. Rejecting after accepting disables further collection and removes this website’s Google Analytics cookies; it does not remove information already collected by Google.

Play buttons take you to Streets of Southend on a separate website. This notice describes the marketing website and its feedback form, rather than the game’s own data handling.
